Ok so, I'm alittle bored, its a three day week end, and i'm still waiting on the OK from my boss to post my review of Pirates 3 and Bugs, so I figured I would do something kind of cool, i'd post some of my favorite movie scenes for all of you to see... hope you like :)
This is from the movie Harold and Maude, this is near the end and for some reason this clip cuts off 30 seconds early, that Jaguar XKE thats been turned into a hearse flies off the cliff just after this clip ends, its a very important part of the movie, no idea why they didn't include it. If you've never seen Harold and Maude its a 1972 movie about death, life, rebirth and understanding. Its an awesome movie.
This is from Powder, one of the best scenes in one of the greatest movies of all time. Sadly though, most will never claim it so given the director and his involvement with an underage sex scandal not long after the moive was released. If you've never actually seen Powder, you have too, just once, forget who the director is and all that secondary bullshit, and just watch it.
This is from Somewhere in Time, one of the greatest love stories ever told. This is the movie that made me believe in love, and made me believe that somewhere, in the here and now or in the future or the past, there is someone that is ment to love each of us. I hold to that every single day of my life.
This is from Carnival of Souls, one of the greatest scary movies ever made, and one of the few from before the 1970s to retain its "classic" moniker and not ever be downgraded to "classic b movie" status, its an enduring and lovely made horror tale that still gives new and old viewers goosebumps
This is from A Bronx Tale, its a very heartbreaking scene, the whole movie is great, sort of a growing up to be goodfellas kind of movie if you've never seen it. But this scene, about how you should do whats right and whats just, and that power, does not always bring love, it brings fear.
well thats it for now!
